Notarial certification, preparation of an official instrument and certification of a translation are different acts. The required act depends on the document and intended legal use.
Match the act to the requirement
A signature certification may confirm who signed without establishing that the document satisfies a transaction’s required form. Property authority, company decisions and other instruments can have specific formal requirements. Tell the lawyer and notary what institution will receive the document and what legal act it supports.
Do not confuse notarisation with apostille
A notarised foreign document may still require authentication for use in Turkey. A Turkish notarised record intended abroad can involve a different chain. Turkey Legal does not act as a notary or issue official notarial certificates. The legal work can include identifying the appropriate document route and coordinating the agreed process.
Access is an entitlement, not a promise
Court files, civil records, banking information and land registry information are governed by different access rules. A lawyer’s professional status does not provide unrestricted access to every record. Some applications require a power of attorney, a party connection, heirship evidence or a court decision. If a document cannot legally be supplied, the answer should say so and explain any lawful alternative rather than imply an official connection.
Keep sensitive material out of the first enquiry
A short description, record type, country of use and deadline are usually enough to identify a starting point. Do not send passwords, e-Devlet credentials, complete banking details, identity numbers or a full criminal file through the open enquiry form. Once scope and authority are agreed, a suitable document-exchange method can be established. Name differences across passports, marriage records and judgments should be disclosed because they can affect acceptance.

Can this process be handled while you live abroad?
Some records can be obtained through a representative; others require personal application, a particular legal interest or an institutional process. Electronic availability does not automatically mean a document is valid for every foreign use.

Does the lawyer’s notary qualification mean this site performs notarisation?+
No. Official notarial acts are performed by the competent notary or authorised consular authority, not by this website.
Can you obtain any Turkish document?+
No. Availability depends on access rights, authority and the issuing institution. The scope is confirmed before work is accepted.
Are you an apostille or translation authority?+
No. Official certificates come from the competent public authority. Translation and notarial services are performed by the relevant qualified providers.
Should I upload my passport now?+
No. The initial enquiry does not require an identity-document upload. Necessary documents can be requested later through an agreed channel.
